Defend Earth. No invaders allowed. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘พ

No Invaders Allowed is a fast arcade action game โ€” my first game built with the Usagi Engine โ€” made for The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam. Control a satellite of the Orbital Defense Unit, circle Earth, and blast incoming alien ships before they break through your defenses. Simple controls, escalating pressure, and one mission: keep Earth safe.

REALLY FUN!!!! great background music, and nice use of TTS instead of an AI voice. Cool temporary upgrades too

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We are glad you enjoyed it! :)

I absolutely loved! Especially the background music! And very challenging!

I'd like to suggest difficulty options like easy, medium and hard mode and the higher the difficulty, more aliens involved and more difficult to get the power ups and the fuel could empty out more quickly, but overall  very awesome game!!!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Actually, thatโ€™s a good point. We did not think about adding difficulty options, but it does make sense and should be fairly easy to implement, maybe with the next iteration! :)

Yay!!! Finally, beat it story mode!

Killing enemies is fun and juicy, temporary upgrades feel nice, aiming is hard.

Ship can kill enemies with touching, so I can just spin to win :^) , this way there is no need to shoot at all, but if I ignore this abuse it is fun to aim and shoot, although ship is hard to control because of inertia, ship is sliding and its hard to aim, it's the only major issue with the game, nice work!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Yeah, thatโ€™s possible and some remnant of the previous iteration with a bit of a different idea. This is why we added the fuel gauge to the player, so they cannot just spin and win easily, but I guess we need to slightly adjust the parameters to tune the difficulty to further suppress such behavior. But we ended up with so many parameters itโ€™s not as trivial to find the correct set :D

Great game, I loved the visuals! I didn't really get, what the primary and secondary weapons differ in. Maybe a way to replay the tutorial could be beneficial, because if I progress accidentally and couldn't get the information then i have insufficient info.
But it has a seriously great arcade vibe :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Actually, there is no difference between the primary and secondary fire, the idea was just that the user can shoot faster like this. But I understand this can lead to confusion. Next time, I will add an option to replay the tutorial! :)
